Got rain? Then, your horses are primed to get scratches (crud on heels). If not managed, they can become systemic infections. Moreover, a lot can be done to prevent them.
Rules:
#1 Only bone dry legs go in or out.
#2 Don't knock off scabs. It exposes skin not yet healed.
