It's Showtime!

May this issue make it easier to keep your horses happier and healthier now and long into the future. I'm delighted to share proven practices for pulling and trimming. If you want to eliminate stains, tail breakage, rubbing and crud, check out the Coat Care Quick Link. Plus, my Top Turnout Clinics and new DVD cover a lot more information regarding easy quality care, handling for confidence and keeping horses sound. I hope you'll read more below and join me at a clinic soon. And, of course, I'd love it if you share this newsletter with your friends. Thank you! Enjoy.

Pulling Peacefully

No matter what your riding discipline, everyone knows a horse that hates to have his mane pulled. Yet, this need not be the case. People inadvertently teach horses to hate having their manes pulled. With proper positioning and technique, some horses actually fall asleep during the process.

Trimming for Health

Fashion should be comfortable and healthy. Here are a few tips for eyes, ears, muzzles and coronary bands to assure you trim with the horse's best interest in mind.

NEW DVD

Optimize your learning curve! Learn the proven formula for beautiful braids consistently, with NO cramped hands. The Better Braiding System comes with tools designed for speed and safety. They'll help you braid faster and more evenly. Use Lucky Braids Yarn for straight, sturdy, comfortable braids.
Finally, braiding can be quick and relaxing!

Have a great show season!
Enjoy all.
